The MS record weight is machined from 304 stainless steel with an energy absorbing co polymer resin insert that absorbs energy emanating from the rotating shaft. Used to help couple the vinyl to the platter as well as to help flatten warped records. Attached to the bottom of the weight is a soft durometer rubber pad that couples the weight to the vinyl. For use with most all turntables with standard diameter shaft record stub. It may however weigh down the suspension on certain suspended tables. Use at your own discretion.

The MS platter mat is for use on all turntables and will effectively dampen resonance from the platter system. The mat has an impedance matching coating to aid in coupling the vinyl to the mat ant the mat to the platter.

The periphery clamping ring is constructed from a metal alloy since it is handled a good deal by the operator and therefore needs to be strong and durable. The inner edge is designed to clear most of today's cartridge bodies. If your record support platter has a diameter of 12.250" and straight sides, then you will be able to incorporate this into your playback system.
